Payments

• For all the tours and travel related services, certain amount of advance payment should be made in advance This amount will be used to book internal flights, train tickets, hotel bookings, blocking transportation and making advance arrangements for your tour.
• "Management personnels" hold the right to decide upon the amount to be paid as advance payment, based on the nature of the service and the time left for the commencement of the service. This all we discuss with you during your tour planning with us.
• Apart from above in some cases like Flight bookings, Train Journeys, Special hotels, beach resorts, wildlife lodges may require a higher deposit or even full payment at their discretion, especially during the peak season. Bookings specially during the peak season (X-Mas and New Year), full payment may be required to be sent in advance.

For Tour Booking:

• 30% of the amount initial to book your tour package as an advance for the tour.
• 50% of the Balance amount you have to pay 28 days before the date of starting your tour making 80% of the total amount in advance.
• Rest of the Balance 20% payment should be completed on arrival and the very first day of the tour in Cash or by online payment Mode, but definitely before the commencement of the tour services.
• Note: The customer receives a confirmation voucher via email within 18 hours of successful booking. The hotel booking vouchers and final tour documents will be only provided after we received the final payment by due date. The booking stands liable to be cancelled if 80% payment is not received, 28 days in advance, before the date of starting your tour. If payments are delayed without notification or adequate reason, we reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled retaining the deposit.

Cancellation of a Tour

• While cancellation - the motive of Spiti Trips, is to provide the maximum refund back to the clients, which is possible to get back after all cancelations regarding the tour. Cancellation of a confirmed booking must be made by the client in writing, whatsApp or by email, to Spiti Trips +918580948811, planspiti@gmail.com, and funds will be reimbursed as follows:
• Written cancellation will accept on all working days, except Sunday, any cancellation sent on Sunday's will be considered on next working day - Monday.

General Cancellation & Refund Policy

• Cancellation 30 days prior the date of travel - 15% of The Total Tour Cost + any amount that we can't get refund after the cancellations.**
• Cancellation 29 - 19 days prior the date of travel - 30% cancellation charges + any amount that we can't get refund after the cancellations.**
• Cancellation 18 - 08 days prior the date of travel - 60% cancellation charges + any amount that we can't get refund after the cancellations.**
• Cancellation 07 - 04 days prior the date of travel – 80% Cancellation charges + any amount that we can't get refund after the cancellations.**
• Less Than 04 days – No Refunds**
• "No Show" - Do not qualify for any refunds - No Alterations and No Refunds back.
• **: amount deducted by the airlines for cancelled internal flights tickets, trains tickets, hotel bookings on Non refundable policy, any taxes / GST, wildlife safaris etc.
• Note: In case you cancel the trip after commencement of the tour, refund would be restricted to a limited amount only which too would depend on the amount that we would be able to recover from the hoteliers/ contractors we patronize.
• For unused hotel accommodation, chartered transportation and missed meals etc., we do not bear any responsibility to refund. All bookings for the X-Mas and New Year period from 20 Dec to 05 Jan the payment is non-refundable.
• Booking and Cancellation Policy May Vary In Case Of Joining A Group Tour.

Price Guarantee and Alteration of the Booked Tour

• The price of your holiday is fully guaranteed and is not subject to any surcharges. The price guarantee applies to complete holidays bought from us and does not cover the purchase of individual items such as airline tickets / train tickets or any other items that are not booked with us. There are no hidden costs or extra’s in our tour prices.
• Where the change is due to circumstances beyond our control amounting to force majeure, such as weather conditions, road blockage, snow fall, technical problems, civil disorder, decisions by governments or other associations, etc., we will offer comparable alternative arrangements. If any of the circumstances amounting to force majeure occurs during a tour we reserve the right to alter the tour programme, as required depending upon the circumstance, without offering any compensation.
• You wish to alter your tour programme after the booking has been accepted for any reason; it would be altered only if, it is possible to alter the tour. Changing the date of departure, alteration of the tour will entail a charge of 1000 per adult and 500 per child below 12 years. Any request for alteration, once the tour has begun, will be treated sympathetically but we cannot guarantee that it can be made. Any cost incurred in making such alterations may cost extra and has to bear by clients directly.

General Terms and Conditions

• Prices are Valid for the period shown but are subject to change without notice in the event of Government action, hike of fuel prices, increase in hotel tax / GST, or any other circumstances beyond our control.
• The tour itinerary is subject to favourable weather and road conditions. In case of a bad weather and inaccessibility to certain destinations we will try our best to make alternate plans. The tour price will not be refunded / not to be adjusted in the event of unfavourable weather or road conditions. Any changes in travel itinerary/ hotel accommodations after the tour has begin will cost extra along with the alteration charges as stated above in the "Price Guarantee and Alteration Of The Booked Tour" Section.
• A/C in the car will not work in the hill area ; it will be available in the plains during the rest of journey. In case you need full A/c service in the car during the tour, it is going to cost you extra and you need to discuss it with us while planning your holiday tour with us.
• Transportation varies with each itinerary and Spiti valley tours can be comfortable done with sedan cars, Toyota SUV or tempo travellers. During the journey the transportation cannot be upgraded or changed until there is any Mechanical fault. Once the tour has started any request for change in transportation vehicle/ driver is treated sympathetically but is not guaranteed and need to pay extra directly by the client.
• All the wildlife safaris booked into any of Indian Wildlife National Park/Sanctuaries are non refundable. Even date change request will be considered as cancellation and no payment will be refunded/ adjusted against it.
• We request that you limit your baggage to maximum 20-25 Kgs., per person.
• Internal flights in India provide 15 Kgs -1 piece luggage + 7 kgs hand baggage in cabin and extra baggage weight will cost extra charges payable at the airline, airport counter directly by clients.
• Due to any circumstances, if you want to leave your tour in- between (except of lockdown by the government) then he/she/ you will not be refunded with any unused part of the tour amount.
• No Refunds will be made for any unused accommodation, missed meals, unused transportation car, bike/ flights/ trains segments, sightseeing tours or any other activities/ services due to bad weather, ill health, strikes, political rallies, road blockage or any other factors beyond our controls. Such unused items are neither refundable, nor exchangeable and non transferable.
• Rooms allocation is done by the hotel depending on the availability, at the time of your check in at the hotel and the room category are specified on your hotel confirmation vouchers provided by us. In Case of any complaint regarding the hotel services kindly contact the hotel reception/ manager directly.

• No Refunds shall be claimed from Spiti Trips or Summit India Travels, if any of the services & amenities of the hotel were not up to your expectations.

• Hotel Check inn /Check Out Time, as per the hotel Policies, early heck in or late check out may cot extra’s.
• Meals Timings must be followed as per instruction given by the hotels.
• Air/ Bus/ Train Tickets fare payment has to be made 100% in advance as the tickets have to be purchased in Advance from the concerned authority.
• When you receive the Booking confirmation Vouchers/Tickets please check the Name and Other details carefully. Inform us immediately, if you found anything incorrect concerned to your final tour bookings. Names on travel documents must exactly match as per in details of your government id's, passport or any other identity proof.
• Kindly carry your Valid Identity Proof Passport/ driving License etc., have to show at the time of check in at the hotel / airport / railway station.
• People joining us on Motorbike tours -wearing a helmet, carrying a valid driving license is mandatory.
• We shall not be responsible for any delays and alterations in the programme or expenses incurred – directly or indirectly – due to natural hazards, flight cancellations, missing of flights, accident, breakdown of machinery or equipments, breakdown of transport, weather, sickness, landslides, political closures or any untoward incidents.
• All guests will be responsible for the safety and security of their own luggage. We will not be at all responsible for the damage/missing / lost luggage. All baggage and personal property/ belongings at all times are at the client's risk.
• We do not have or provide any travel or any other kind of insurance policy covering the expenses for client’s accident, sickness, loss due to theft, or any other reasons. If required clients are advised to seek such travel insurance arrangements themselves.
• In Spiti Valley during the winter Season (November to March End), as the natural sources of water freezes and there is no running tap water available. Winter accommodation to stay in Spiti is provided using, a few home stays that are still being operated by some local families. Bathing or shower may not be possible for couple of days. Traditional dry compost toilets are the only choice during your home stay on the Spiti Winter Snow Road trip.
• Spiti Valley Winter tour or Snow Leopard Trip to Spiti provides an extreme adventure challenge both for men and machine. You need to be mentally and physically fit to take this extreme adventurous tour during the snow time. There could be some unexpected road blockage due to snowfall and arrangements to arrange any 4 x 4 jeep will cost extra and will have to pay directly by the client in Spiti.
